Okay so this isn’t very good as music but I thought I’d explain what I do to learn something
I figured out this solo by ear earlier (Bark At The Moon, by the way), and was struggling with getting it all to flow well, so I grabbed my phone and a guitar unplugged (if you can hear it unplugged and/or on a clean channel and it sounds good, with gain it’ll sound good) and practiced at slow tempo to a drum machine, then I sped it up (100, 120, then 140bpm), and then started recording, then when I got two takes in sync I’ve got it down, so here’s one of the final takes. Just so you know, that D Aeolian fast picking sequence at the end is not easy. Nowhere near.
